Louisville's second largest local institution after Waverly Hills, Heine Brothers, is set to open a new coffee shop at 4305 Shelbyville Road in St. Matthews on Nov. 28.

That location—and that location only, so don't drive past it and request this deal at one of the other 10 Heine Brothers—is offering a Black Friday special: beginning at 5:30 a.m. on Nov. 23rd, enjoy a medium coffee for $1.

As for the real opening, let's get lazy and quote the press release:

The newest Heine Brothers' shop will celebrate its grand opening on Nov. 28 with "52 for 52" by giving away free coffee each week of 2013 to the first 52 customers. The new location will also celebrate opening day by giving customers 53 through 150 a $5 gift card, if they register their card during their opening day visit...The 2,000 square-foot shop has a drive-thru window and seats approximately 50 people.

And beginning Nov. 29, the Blankenbaker Parkway Heine Brothers' is partnering with the Center for Women and Families for the new Care in a Cup program. That location—and that location only, so don't drive past it and end up at one of the other 10 Heine Brothers—will give a free cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate to all guests who donate at least $1 to Care in a Cup. The funds will be used to purchase holiday dinners at the Center for Women and Families, which "helps victims of intimate partner abuse or sexual violence to become survivors through supportive services, community education and cooperative partnerships that foster hope, promote self-sufficiency and rebuild lives."
