You Can't Buy Booze in Kentucky on Election Day

Kentuckians can't be trusted to buy liquor until after the polls close at 6 p.m. on Election Day. So if you're planning on doing some daytime drinking tomorrow—looking at you state workers, who are on holiday—either stock up now or be prepared to caulk your wagon and float across the Ohio River to Indiana. In 2010, Hoosier State lawmakers repealed that state's ban on election day booze sales.
