A 2013 Louisville Restaurant Week Lineup Was Announced, But It's Called 502 Restaurant Week

When is a week longer than seven days? When it's restaurant week. (Although the week before Christmas seems it. Baby Jesus, get here already, need presents now.)

Yesterday 502 Events announced that it's organizing 502 Restaurant Week for Feb. 22-March 3, 2013. Why is it called "502 Restaurant Week" and not "Louisville Restaurant Week?" Shh! You want to get sued? The city's only 4948?restaurant weeks away from having a full restaurant year.

From the press release:

Participating restaurants will create a special 502 Restaurant Week dinner menu consisting of three courses during the 10-day culinary event and diners will pay just $50.20 per couple or $50.20 per person, depending on the restaurant. Price does not include gratuity or taxes.

Organizers are shooting to have 30 restaurants participate. So far they've signed up

And if an event happens and it doesn't have a mobile app, did it really happen? Possibly, but just in case, iPhone and Android apps have been released.

A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit Louisville's Dare to Care Food Bank.
