On Jan. 24, The Cellar at Decca is hosting tributes at 6 and 9 p.m. to actor Victor Mature. The Louisville native stared in films from 1939-1984 and is best known for his role as the original Doc Holiday in John Ford's My Darling Clementine.Tickets are $50 per person and include a screening of that film, cocktails and hors d'ouvres. Mature will be Louisville's 20th Hometown Hero; the event is raising funds to put his image on a historic Shelby Park building that once housed his family's grocery. [Eventbrite]
