Old Rip Van Winkle "Pappy & Co" Goods and Apparel Launch Party
When: Saturday, 3-7 p.m.
Where: Foxhollow Farm (8905 Highway 329, Crestwood)
What: The Van Winkle family is launching Pappy & Co. goods and apparel inspired by Old Rip Van Winkle. This event includes hand-crafted bourbon Old Rip Van Winkle cocktails, barbeque from Bluegrass Brewing Company, cuisine from Wiltshire Pantry, La Palina Cigars from Riverside Cigar Shop and bluegrass from Relic Bluegrass Band. VIP tickets are $100—which features a tasting of Van Winkle 10-, 12- and 20-year bourbons—and available online.
Otaku Ramen Pop-Up at MilkWood
When: Saturday, 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
Where: MilkWood (316 W. Main St.)
What: The ramen craze has reached Louisville! Well, briefly anyway, Sarah Gavigan, of Nashville's Otaku South, is turning MilkWood into a pop-up ramen shop. Bowls start at $12, and beer and wine pairings will be offered too. Reservations suggested, 502- 584-6455.
