RiverPark Place developer Steve Poe foresees a yet-unnamed 9000-square-foot restaurant as "the project's premier dining establishment," Sheldon Shafer reports in the Courier-Journal. Poe has planned the restaurant with two outdoor patios and a connection to the historic Paget House, dating from 1790, which will be converted to a catered private function space. Poe has teamed up with Chip Hamm and other partners behind such projects as Doc Crow's Southern Smokehouse and Raw Bar, and wants the restaurant near Towhead Island to be "a major new gathering place," hopefully open by Spring 2015. — Steve Hacker [Courier-Journal]
