Great Flood Brewing Founders Grimace at Gov't Shutdown, Now Hope for Early-ish 2014 Start

The recent government shutdown pushed back the opening date of Great Flood Brewing's Bardstown Road taproom, Insider Louisville's Steve Coomes reports. It seems issuing brewery permits is done by "non-essential" workers. Partner Matt Fuller is quoted as saying the company was "on course to have it opened by January, but now we're conservatively hoping it'll be early 2014."

Fuller, along with partners Vince Cain and Zach Barnes, say Great Flood Brewing will be open Thursday through Sunday only, with a rotating menu of eight beers on tap. Bonus business-speak points to Fuller for the quote "We're going to be utilizing some analytics software with our point-of-sale system to identify beers our customers are liking the most and go with those."
