Lynn Winter says she is talking with four potential buyers, and Lynn's Paradise Cafe could have a new owner by the end of the month. Winter denied the much-discussed "labor dispute" was a factor in closing and then putting the restaurant up for sale, again insisting she thought she "was dying of shingles." Winter, 51, also told the CJ she suffered two heart attacks before the restaurant closed. Though Jefferson County assesses her half-acre property at $638,000, Winter claimed more than $400,000 has been spent on new appliances, flooring and other renovations in the basement and kitchen after shutdown, saying the work "would have been impossible to undertake when the restaurant was open."
