Clarksville's The Keg Liquors has been hoarding their supplies of Pappy Van Winkle, Four Roses, George T Stagg and other "sought after bourbons." Now they're taking the bottles online in hopes of big prices. Starting Friday, December 6, the store will hold a week-long email silent auction. The Keg website beseeches people to bid high, saying all profits above retail will go to the WHAS Crusade for Children and "unlike playing the black market on Craigslist, you know that these are the real products, and you will be paying for them in a registered, licensed store." Sorry, Internet innovators—according to The Keg Liquors, "all purchases must be paid in cash or credit card," so all those Bitcoins won't buy any bourbon.
