·Against the Grain Brewery just unleashed what it's calling "the most metal beer ever." Save Ferrous is "a red rye malt liquor aged on a blowtorch sterilized sword blade that was suspended in the tank by a guitar string." Don't believe that description? Watch the video at the end of this post.
·Harvest is celebrating the season with a spring equinox menu. Available through April 7, its dishes are inspired by Western Kentucky—apparently people there cook with ingredients other than antifreeze and cough syrup. Who knew!
·Proof on Main, already on Eater Louisville's best brunch options map, updated its menu for the meal that's a favorite with the gay and/or childless. [UPDATE March 21, 9:54 p.m. Based on the comments, that last line may have been confusing. Not saying brunch isn't kid-friendly; just saying kids aren't well-suited for leisurely, boozy meals that coincide with their nap time.]
·The Cafe is now offering three new weekday breakfast specials, showing off a little international flair.
