Damaris Phillips, a culinary arts instructor at Jefferson Community and Technical College, is competing this summer on "Food Network Star." If Phillips wins, she gets her own Food Network TV show and Louisvillians get to bask in even more reflected glory.
In advance of "Food Network Star's" season nine premier, scheduled for Sun., June 2 at 9 p.m., the show recently released videos of all contestants, including Phillips's audition. (Fun drinking game: do a shot for each phallic reference, if you're not passed out within 30 seconds, congratulate yourself.)
