Bourbon 103
When: Today, 6 p.m.
Where: Distilled Spirits Epicenter Moonshine University (801 S. 8th St.)
What: Completed Bourbon 101 and 102 and looking for a way to apply that knowledge other than, well, drinking? Bourbon 103 will let you play with actual bourbon distillery equipment. Complete the class and you'll earn your Masters in Bourbon from Moonshine University. Tickets are $40 and include a ride on the short-bus to the graduation party at Silver Dollar.
"City's Best Happy Hour"
When: Today, 3-7 p.m.
Where: Churchill Downs (700 Central Ave.)
What: Food trucks Moe-Licious BBQ, Reds Comfort Foods and Louisville Dessert Truck will be at the track for the self-proclaimed "city's best happy hour." Local band Mojoflo is playing and there be drink specials.
Dry Rosés and Light Summer Wines Tasting
When: Saturday, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Where: The Wine Studio (621 W. Magnolia Ave.)
What: 610 Magnolia's The Wine Studio is kicking off summer with a tasting of dry rosés, bright whites and light reds. Light appetizers will be served. $35 per person.
