So that temporary closing of Quattro so it could "do a reset, a reassessment of how we should improve the way we run this business"? WHAS 11's Doug Proffitt posted on his Facebook fan page (1,010 likes!) that the closure was permanent:
Doors locked, all lights off inside. This was a locally owned restaurant in a project (4th ST. LIVE) that is all chains. Cordish Group hoping to get another locally owned restaurant to operate here. We're told it closed about 2 weeks ago.
Proffitt later posted that a "restaurant broker tells WHAS 11 News he's working right now to get a locally owned steakhouse into this location."
If a restaurant's been closed for two weeks and no one noticed, was it really open?
In addition to this month's temporary and now permanent shutter, Quattro—when it was named Mozzaria—closed for about seven weeks in December 2012 to January 2013. Also in January, Fourth Street Live's Angels Rock Bar and Mosaic Night Club and Lounge closed. The Kill Devil Club and The Marquee Bar later opened in Angels' old spot.
