There are restaurants where the outdoor dining space is an artfully designed Shangri-La, where diners' experiences are augmented by nature's bounty.
And then there's The Bard's Town, which plopped a few plastic chairs and tables in a parking lot and cordoned them off with bike racks. Although in the restaurant, pub and theater's defense, maybe it's not a patio but rather the setting for a late-period Samuel Beckett revival.
