Dine on Main Street with Edward Lee, Toast 'The Bourbon Review,' Celebrate Hoosier Beer

DOWNTOWN—610 Magnolia and MilkWood's Edward Lee is preparing a dinner for 100 people to eat in the middle of Main Street on Aug. 16. The Original Makers Club's second Louisville Dinner Series event will take place in front of Actor's Theatre, which is about to open the curtain on its 50th season (your GD right that pun was intended). $150 a person, reservations are available online. DOWNTOWN—St. Charles Exchange is hosting The Bourbon Review's fifth anniversary gala tomorrow from 5:30-8:30 p.m. New executive chef Mark Ford is preparing suckling pig, shrimp and grits, Bourbon Barrel beer cheese and deviled eggs to pair with Prohibition-era libations and merlots bourbon flights.
