Jeff Ruby's Closes Temporarily to Repair Floor Under Shark Tank

Jeff Ruby's is temporarily closed to fix a problem with the floor under its shark tank, WAVE 3 reports. The downtown steakhouse will use the hiatus to make other, unspecified, improvements too. No re-opening date was given.

Jeff Ruby's, of course, is either best known for being the restaurant where the eponymous owner threw out OJ Simpson or where the owner had a bizarre fetish for the Drew Peterson trial.

On a Facebook post, Ruby apologized for the inconvenience and encouraged diners to visit one of his other restaurants.

A recent malfunction below our shark aquarium resulted in a need to replace some flooring. We have decided to take this opportunity to make some other improvements to your restaurant as well. We apologize for this inconvenience and will reopen in a very short time. We would be happy to make reservations for you at our Belterra or Cincinnati locations.
