Baxter Station Bar and Grill has closed and is for sale. The for-sale signs were hung on the 22-year-old Payne Steet restaurant today, according to a neighbor.
A voicemail message inquiring about the asking price was left for Mark McCulloch Realtors, which apparenty is representing owner Andrew Hutto, at 1:57 p.m. This article will be updated should they respond.
Earlier this month, the Commonwealth of Kentucky closed the restaurant for unpaid taxes, which yesterday the Louisville Courier-Journal reported totaled $95,859.02. In July, the Louisville Metro Department of Public Health & Wellness closed the restaurant for three days after it received three straight C health inspection grades.
