Not a winner? You can buy tickets ($125-$200) at Cochon555's website. It's Sept. 8 at 21c Museum Hotel.
The competing chefs teams will be led by Edward Lee and Kevin Ashworth of Milkwood, Coby Lee Ming of Harvest, Tyler Morris of Rye on Market, Annie Pettry of Decca and Levon Wallace of Proof on Main.
"Each chef crew must prepare one plate showcasing the whole hog in six distinct dishes comprised of four meats and two sides," according to the press release. "The meats are bone, muscle, pull, stew and sides are mayo and mustard based - which means that there will be no less than 30 heritage pork dishes to feast."
In addition to a whole lotta hog, beverages will be available from Crispin Cider, Anchor Brewing, Antica Formula, Breckenridge Bourbon, Buffalo Trace, Eagle Rare, Fernet Branca, Fidencio Mezcal, Four Roses, Illegal Mezcal, Mezcals de Leyenda, Pierde Almas.
