Sports-themed restaurant Champps Americana closed yesterday. The St. Matthews restaurant, which you pass getting off I-264 on your way to the Apple Store, had been open less than a year.
The person who answered the phone but declined identifying herself said she could not comment, but to call back tomorrow morning and talk to a corporate manager, who potentially could answer questions.
The Wichita, KS-based restaurant, which has more than 60 locations, launched its first Louisville restaurant just last November, according to Business First. This spot previously housed The Fox and Hound Restaurant.
Eater learned of the shuttering via an anonymous tip. Notice anything going on in Louisville's restaurant scene? Send the tips our way.
