The Zoo admits Quannik the polar bear cub's "exact birthday is unknown," but they're having a party on the date assigned by government officials. Celebrants can "watch Qannik enjoy a peanut butter cake made especially for her by Heitzman Traditional Bakery and Deli in St. Matthews," and perhaps the bear will share.

What: 2014 Resolutions Solutions Fair
Where: Rainbow Blossom Natural Food Market
When: Saturday, January 11, 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
"Local businesses, practitioners and non-profits" will help set and reach goals for "fitness and weight loss" as well as other life aspects. Giveaways and raffle prizes available along with the guilt.

What: Winter Yūshoku and Lantern Tour
Where: Woodford Reserve Distillery
When: Saturday, January 11, 6:30 p.m.
"Yūshoku is the Japanese word for dinner," and Chef de Cuisine Nat Henton calls bourbon "Woodford Reserve." The two concepts come together as Henton explores "how the flavors of Japanese cuisine pair with Bourbon in general and Woodford Reserve specifically. Only for "guests 21 or older" who have reservations.
