Eater got an early look at Loop 22, which according to partner Eric Morris is on schedule for a "grand opening on Tuesday." Juggling Game and Hammerheads alongside Adam Burress and Chase Mucerino means there hasn't been much sleeping for "three guys and three restaurants," Morris said. "Go-to guy" Mucerino, he added, "has been run ragged." Loop 22's menu had not been set at the time of Eater's visit, but Morris said that in addition to rotisserie chicken and duck, at open the restaurant would also have a "surf and turf queso" with grilled lobster and Mexican chorizo as well as six cocktails including a bourbon-based play on a Moscow Mule tentatively titled the "Jefferson Jackass." Morris also told Eater Loop 22 has plans for "a monthly pig roast for the neighborhood," and possibly weekend brunch service in the near future.
