Except for Fridays and weekends, Ramsi's Cafe on the World has ceased serving during lunch hours in order to "take their farm to the next level," according to an email. A post on Ramsi's Facebook page elaborates that "Monday through Thursday afternoons, you will find us on the farm, tending to the crops and chickens." Owners Ramsi and Rhona Kamar own a 15-acre farm in east Jefferson County currently housing 10,000 square feet of indoor growing space and a thriving poultry operation. Ramsi's Facebook page says "while not everything on our menu is from the farm (yet), we are moving in that direction. In the meantime, you will see more and more dishes featuring freshly picked, certified organic ingredients." Dinner service at the Highlands restaurant will continue seven days a week with lunch available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
