Pita Delites Modernizing Into Zäd Modern Mediterranean, Possibly in Early March

"My older brother retired from the business," says Nabil Al-Saba, the new owner of what was formerly Pita Delites, which made Eater's list of "Most Underrated Restaurants" last year. Al-Saba told Eater that Zäd Modern Mediterranean will build on Pita Delites' menu with some "new salads, some Mediterranean and Moroccan stews." The restaurant's interior is being updated and refreshed, and Eater noticed a brighter building color and new siding and equipment being installed. Al-Saba says that he is "shooting for the first week in March" for the unveiling of Zäd, which he says will feature updated Mediterranean food that will be "a little bit different. We're going to tweak things a little bit."
