First Look Inside Liquorless, Open-ish The Joy Luck

The bar's not yet open at The Joy Luck, but Alvin Lin's vision of Taiwanese-Chinese-Kentucky-Craft Cocktail togetherness is coming together and serving a so-far-alcohol-free lunch and dinner. (Lin says The Joy Luck's license should arrive soon, and plans a Grand Opening event when it does.) Eater stopped by for a look at The Joy Luck, and while the bar back is still empty, there is an interior full of chalked positivity, framed posters and plants. It definitely doesn't look like a "traditional" Chinese restaurant, even without the cocktail shakers.
