Next week, March 17 through March 21, is officially Eater Pizza Week. Our week of cheesy, saucy, doughy goodness can become even better (or at least cheesier) with input from the Eater community. (Over the next few days, look out for other open thread pizza questions.) On this thread we're looking for your thoughts on the existence of Louisville-style pizza.
Some say a semi-thick crust, spicy marinara sauce and piles of cheese and meats make a style unique to the Derby city. Some say it's just watered-down Sicilian or Chicago style. Let us know what you think might by Louisville's signature style of pizza. Tell us where and what your idea of "Louisville-style" could be.
