"I like pig butts and I cannot lie" reads the counter front at Rob-a-Que, award-winning smoker Rob Bailey's first foray into table service. Bailey left his family's tool and supply business in 2011 and began entering barbecue competitions. He has run a catering and carry-out business since 2012, along with selling barbecue supplies and running his "Q-School," where he teaches smoking and grilling techniques. Now he's selling smoked brisket, pork and chicken, St. Louis-style ribs, smoked wings, smoked meat loaf, and more out of a refurbished former Subway across the street from the Vanhoose Education Center.
