Great Flood Brewing Now Beering

After a soft open, Matt Fuller, Vince Cain and Zach Barnes are ready to serve beer to the general public at Great Flood Brewing Company, opening at 4 p.m. today. The brewery's Facebook page promises a pale ale and a brown ale will be on hand, along with "Hoppy Irish, Wit and a few others." Eater stopped in before opening day and Fuller and Barnes said that while they'll have snacks and such from Lotsa Pasta, they encourage customers to bring food or order in from nearby restaurants such as North End Cafe and Cafe Lou Lou. (According to a Facebook post, Grind's burger truck will be around for tonight's opening.) "Any food anyone wants to bring in is fine," said Fuller, adding: "North End Café and Café Lou Lou will push the orders through faster, come over and deliver and all that stuff." Looking visibly worn out from the preparation for open, Barnes said that the brewery has been "harder work and longer work than any of us could possibly imagine." Fuller, looking equally if not even more tired, added: "It's cool to say you're going to be working 100 hours a week, and then you start working 100 hours a week. It really f**ked us up."
