Harvest Dinner To Benefit World's Drinking Water

Kentucky Agriculture Commissioner James Comer and Mayor Greg Fischer will be the speakers at a May 22 Harvest Restaurant farm to table dinner, but the real stars will be local farmers and safe drinking water. Sponsored by 502 Winery and Four Roses Bourbon, the $100 per person event features appetizers, an open bar and a three-course dinner. Proceeds will benefit WaterStep, which according to Mayor Greg Fischer is one of Louisville's "most unique charities that helps bring clean, safe drinking water to people worldwide." Commissioner Comer said "there is no greater way to thank a Kentucky farmer than to serve up Kentucky Proud food," adding he is "so grateful to WaterStep, Four Roses, and Harvest Restaurant for supporting our farm families and serving up a delicious, locally-grown meal for such a worthy cause."
