Lamas, Benjamin Face Off At First Rainbow Blossom Farmers Market

Chefs Anthony Lamas of Seviche and Bobby Benjamin of La Coop: Bistro à Vins will compete in an "Iron Chef"-style competition at Rainbow Blossom St. Matthews on Sunday, June 1. The event marks the official launch of the store's Sunday farmers market season. Each chef will prepare a meal using fresh, local ingredients purchased from farmers at the market. The winning meal will be chosen based on taste, originality, healthiness, and an additional, even more subjective "Can I make this at home?" category. In addition to the regular weekly vendors, the Farmers Market Celebration will include guests with food, crafts, educational displays and live music performances.
