GratzParkFB150x98.jpgDowntown Lexington's boutique hotel, Gratz Park Inn, refused to renew the lease of chef/owner Jonathan Lundy, who will be closing his restaurant Jonathan at Gratz Park on June 28 after 26 years. The restaurant said Lundy and general manager TJ Cox appealed the decision to Lexington facilities management company CRM, but were unsuccessful. The boutique hotel at Second and North Upper streets announced that Mark Wombles, owner and chef of Heirloom in Midway, would open a new restaurant, Distilled at Gratz Park Inn, focusing on local ingredients. Heirloom will remain open. [Herald-Leader]
