Harvest Chef Coby Ming will be very, very close to her vegetables when she "curates" a dinner for Foxhollow Farm's "Wheelbarrow to Table" dinner series on June 21. As the biodynamic Oldham county farm puts it: "It's an easy choice for us to partner with Harvest, a locally grown restaurant famous for sourcing 80% of their menu items from within 100 miles." The menu (vegetarian and gluten-free options available in advance) will feature Foxhollow Beef and vegetables raised on the farm, each course "paired with a carefully chosen beverage to heighten the experience. Ming told the CJ's Dana McMahan her menu might feature "a little comparison of a beef tartare and vegetable tartare" as well as aged strip steak, smoked beef shank and potato salad with hog jowl bacon jam. Though the event is limited to 55 people, tickets are still available at $75 per person.
