There are chickens, horses, cows and carnies, but also amazing amounts of food and drink to be enjoyed at the Kentucky State Fair. Things on sticks are quite popular, as are dishes deep fried—including the somewhat new "Kentucky Traditions" of deep-fried Derby Pie® and deep-fried Hot Browns.
