21c Museum Hotels, the award-winning boutique hotel, contemporary art museum and restaurant group, announced today that Richard Sible has been promoted to Executive Chef of Garage Bar. Sible, a native of Louisville Ohio, has been chef de cuisine at Garage Bar since he joined the restaurant shortly after it opened in 2011. He succeeds Michael Paley, who the Museum Group also announced is departing this fall "to pursue other opportunities." The Group says the Garage Bar menu will "retain signature dishes like Sweet Corn Pie, Brussels Sprout Pie and Fried Turkey Wings," not to mention the restaurant's signature pizzas. However, Sible adds that he looks forward to "continuing to evolve the menu at Garage Bar and working with our incredible group of local farmers, purveyors, producers and our Garage Bar team."
UPDATE: 21c notified Eater that their original statement was in error and that Sible is actually an Ohio native and not from Louisville.
