Craft House ("Local Beers, Local Food") has opened in the space formerly occupied by Darkstar on Frankfort Avenue. Partners Brad Culver, Beau Kerley and Pat Hagan completely gutted the building to its brick walls, rebuilding it around a 50-tap beer station. According to the Craft House website several local breweries' beers will be available, including Bluegrass Brewing Company (founded in part by Hagan), Apocalypse Brew Works, Against The Grain, Country Boy and more. The site also notes there will be a variety of bourbons on hand, and claims Craft House "is excited to be offering a chef-driven menu [from chef Tim Smith] ... using the freshest and highest quality local meats and produce." (Kevin Gibson of Insider Louisville says the menu will include fried bologna and "Kentucky Fried Quail.")
