Food & Wine Magazine's September issue reveals the results of their "first-annual, quasi-scientific, potentially controversial" survey on the country's "best food destinations." Some of "the most intriguing findings" include a commendation from Julian Van Winkle III for Coals Artisan Pizza and their Middletown Pie. In one of the sections where "locals tell us what $20 buys" in various cities, the current President of Old Van Winkle Distillery says "the crust at Coal's is the best—not too thin, not too thick." Van Winkle also add that, as a meat lover, the $15 pie "is loaded with Italian fennel sausage and pepperoni."
