Coconut Beach Tacos & Cerveza Now Open on Floyd Street

Ceaseless-restaurant-opener Fernando Martinez, of (let's start at the beginning) Havana Rumba, Mojito's, Guaca-Mole, Mussel & Burger Bar, El Taco Luchador and Cena, has done the dining thing again. Along with wife Christina Martinez and cousin Yaniel Martinez, Fernando has opened Coconut Beach Tacos & Cerveza in the former Tailgater's Sports Bar & Grill across from Papa John's Cardinal Stadium on Floyd Street. Martinez rushed to get the place open before the U of L football season kicked off, leaving the Tailgater's sign up and rushing the Mussel & Burger Bar food truck over to help host the "CardNation Fanzone."
