While Indiana Solicitor General Thomas Fisher may be disappointed, many more marriages may soon be occurring in Indiana. Anticipating this new era of "Hoosier Hospitality," Matt MacMahan has quite possibly launched New Albany's new favorite place for wedding receptions. The Big Four Burgers + Beer owner has refurbished and reopened the former Warehouse Bar at 504 State St. in New Albany as PRIDE Bar + Lounge, which advertises itself on Facebook as "Southern Indiana's ONLY LGBT bar!" McMahan had previously owned the property, which saw operation as a hookah bar, then the LGBT-accepting Warehouse before shutting down. Updates to the building include a new dance floor and new outdoor seating. MacMahan also noted his next venture, Sellersburg's Charlie Noble's Eatery & Draught House at 7815 Ind. 311 in Sellersburg, had its opening delayed due to his work on PRIDE, but still plans to have the most-likely-OK-with-LGBT-along-with-everyone-else place open by mid-September.
