Readers Vote: Louisville's 8 Best BBQ Restaurants

View as Map

Last week, Eater Louisville asked what's Louisville's best BBQ? Among the 17 responses we received, there was "a guy named Marcus who's set up in the parking lot of a furniture store." Honestly, if you're talking BBQ and "a guy in a parking lot" isn't part of the conversation, something's wrong.

Here are your responses, in map form and in no particular order, with sample comments thrown in. Have another suggestion? To the comments you should go.

"Best ribs I've had come from a guy named Marcus who's set up in the parking lot of a furniture store [apparently Winner Furniture] on the corner of Dixie Highway and Glenview Place down in Shively. Fantastic meaty ribs, I thought they were better even than Feast's. Sauce was generic, unfortunately. Still the best in town IMHO. Said he's there 7 days a week."
