Six Louisville Bars that Serve the Ultra-Hip Grapefruit Shandy Stiegl Radler

View as Map

Stiegl Radler, a shandy beer has popped up on the local scene at a few hip bars. A shandy, which is a mix of beer and a non-alcoholic drink, according to the Oxford Dictionary, has become a popular beverage choice in the dog days of summer. The low alcohol content (2.5 percent) from the Austrian import, however, leaves some drinkers desiring a little more. In response to this yearning, Louisville drinkers have started dropping a shot of either grapefruit vodka or tequila in to the grapefruit Radler. If you haven't heard of this trend yet, don't worry, there's still time for you to catch on, just put on your thick-rimmed glasses, cuff up your skinny jeans and head to one of these bars, which carry Radler, and get your fruity drink on.
